Bertram Derthona towards Fortitudo Agrigento. Coach Pansa: “Match with many pitfalls”
Just over twenty-four hours after the showdown between Bertram Derthona and Moncada Agrigento, everything is ready at the Juventus home for the third home match, which tomorrow evening at the PalaOltrepo' in Voghera will see the Bianconeri on the pitch at 20.30pm (ticket offices open from 19.00pm). Coach Lorenzo Pansa wanted to focus on his team's moment: “It's a match that hides pitfalls for many reasons. The first of all is the quality of our opponents, then it will be important to evaluate our mental strength after the first three victories. We play against a team that plays particularly effectively, coached by one of the best coaches in this category. In the first three games they regularly scored more than 80 points on average, finding different solutions in each game. It's a team that expresses great energy and motivation, against which we will have to be good at equalizing their intensity before anything else."
Coach Pansa then describes tomorrow evening's opponents: "It is a team that clearly transmits the ideas of its coach Franco Ciani, who knows how to immediately search for the tactical objective, but who at the same time is able to express a basketball very fluid even on the shot clock. Evangelisti and Williams are the main players, but around them Cannon is proving to be a player of great substance; furthermore, players like Pepe and Ambrosin come off the bench, who are making excellent absolute value even in their first experience in this category.”
The week of training passed in a positive way: “I am very happy with the approach in terms of intensity and attention. We tried to pay great attention to the technical and tactical characteristics of Agrigento, while at the same time trying to improve the quality of our executions, an aspect which in the first part of the match against Eurobasket came out a little less well than usual."
