The final game got off to a close start, with both teams trading blows in the first period. The Borasi-Fogliato duo provided the initial push, allowing Tortona to ramp up the intensity and reach a 10-point lead at 42-32. Napoli, however, responded quickly after the timeout and, led by Esposito, mounted a 17-4 run that reversed the momentum of the match. At halftime, the score favored Napoli, leading 46-49.
After returning from the locker rooms, the tie remained even until the final quarter, when Allianz Derthona Tortona significantly changed pace. The Bianconeri consistently found the basket and scored a decisive 23-3 run, sealing the game and giving them a maximum lead of +19 with six minutes to go. The 20 assists total confirmed the effectiveness of the team's attack.
Napoli attempted to fight back, getting back within double digits thanks to the efforts of Sow and the usual Esposito, but Tortona maintained control of the match. Led by a brilliant Solazzi, the Bianconeri's top scorer with 27 points, Allianz controlled the final minutes and secured their first win of the second leg in Romagna.
This victory officially concludes Allianz Derthona Tortona's experience at the IBSA Next Gen Cup 2025/2026, having finished with six overall points and a final record of three wins and four defeats.
