The results of Beginners and Aquilotti at the 'X Torneo Amici di Enrico'
Important appointment for the Esordienti and Bianconere Aquilotti teams, who participated in the 'X Friends of Enrico Tournament' organized by Trofarello SEC, Bea Leopardi Chieri and the Amici di Enrico Association.
The Aquilotti took to the field at the San Silvestro Sports Center in Chieri on Saturday 11 May and concluded the tournament in sixth place. The rookies were involved in the tournament dedicated to them on Sunday 12 May, at the PalaWojtyla in Cambiano (TO). Inserted in the single group with PMS Basket, Bea Chieri and Crocetta Torino - teams participating in the Gold phase of the Rookies championship - the Bianconeri did well by winning by one point against Chieri in the opening match of the event. The easier victory that came in the second match against Crocetta led the Lions to compete for first place in the decisive match against PMS.
In the final match of the event, after a first half led in pace and scoring by the team coached by Gaudio, in the second half their opponents managed to direct a very balanced match in their favor, thus achieving the final success in the event. Second place demonstrates the great progress shown by the young Lions over the course of the season and represents confirmation of the growth already highlighted by the Alba tournament, played from 23 to 25 April.
