The numbers of the Juventus regular season
Bertram Derthona's regular season ended with the match in Udine (17 wins in 26 matches) and they are now preparing for the White Group matches of the scheduled phase. Here are some numbers from the first phase of the championship of the team coached by Marco Ramondino:
12 – The number of consecutive victories of the Lions at the start of the championship.
The best start in the history of Serie A2 (surpassing the record of Trieste 2017/18, set at 11) was worth the treasure of points that Derthona brought with them to end the regular season at the top;
5 – Players capable of averaging double figures in points scored. Cannon (14.7 points per game) is the best in this statistical category, followed by Sanders (10.7), Fabi (10.8), Mascolo (13.6), and Ambrosin (11.0), but Derthona has proven capable of involving all the elements in its offensive system, finding different protagonists in every game this season;
13 out of 13 – The first half of the season for the Lions, who have won all thirteen of their matches in the first half of the season. An impressive run of form, allowing the Bianconeri to become the first team in Serie A2 history to reach this milestone;
1 – The monthly MVP of the Green Group for the Lions. This is Lorenzo Ambrosin, who in five December games – all wins – averaged 17 points per game, shooting 48% from three-point range in just over 22 minutes of average play. The Bianconeri number 7's stellar month was rewarded with this prestigious award;
69 – The Lions have conceded on average. Ramondino's team put up a perfect defense. Their consistency and solidity throughout the regular season earned them the top spots in the overall standings.
10 – These are the only turnovers the Bianconeri have averaged at the end of this season, a testament to the Lions' solid offensive play. This number puts them top of the Green Group in terms of average turnovers per game. This is also an important sign for the rest of the season.
The clock phase will start on April 25th, which will see Bertram engaged against Forlì, Napoli and Scafati, in strict ranking order, the best teams in the Red Group. An important test to prepare as best as possible for the playoffs (starting on Sunday 23 May) which will decide the teams promoted to Serie A.
