The liberos of the dream, now Serie A: Jamarr Sanders still with us
In our eyes and in our hearts we still have his coldness in the decisive moment of Game 5, when he scored the decisive free throws for promotion to Serie A. Our journey with Jamarr Sanders will also continue in the 2021/22 season, the third in the black and white jersey .
Arriving in Tortona at the end of January 2020, Jamarr has so far worn the jersey with the Lion on the chest in 57 matches - divided between all competitions - contributing decisively to the championship victory. His was the decisive basket at the end of Game 5 of the quarter-finals against Ravenna, his was the ball recovered in the final seconds of Game 4 against Eurobasket Roma which earned them qualification for the final, and finally his were the free throws that sealed promotion to the Serie A in Game 5 against Torino.
Ice-cold in the decisive moments of a year in which he averaged 12 points per game in the playoffs, Jamarr will continue to wear the black and white of Derthona.
