Gulliver Derthona was defeated at the Itelyum Arena in Varese by a very physical team, the home team Campus, in the sixth match played by the black and white team in the Serie B Interregionale championship of the Division A Conference Nord-Ovest.
These are the post-match statements of Juventus coach Luca Ansaloni: “The team played a decent start to the game to be able to stay close to them with the score, given the great pace. Unfortunately in the second period we took frenetic shots that led to a drop in our scoring percentage. We were not careful on defense and therefore suffered their game, which was much more congenial than ours, thanks also to the various quick transitions completed with a basket. In the third quarter we also recovered in defense trying to get closer to them, but not enough to be able to reopen the game which took a certain direction and did not end well despite our efforts.".
