Convincing success for the Lions, who roar on the Treviglio pitch thanks to a second half of a very high level in the defensive half which fuels the offensive fluidity and allows them to give the decisive push to a match that remained in balance in the first twenty minutes. Among the protagonists of the decisive break was Severini, capable of removing Nikolic from the match and scoring important three-point baskets, in addition to the usual Mascolo (15 p) and Cannon (14 p). An important performance also for Ambrosin (15p) and Tavernelli (11p), while D'Ercole's debut was positive (7p).

Starting quarter of the match at a very high pace and intensity, made up of partials and against partials: Derthona closed ahead 24-26 with the first two points in the black and white from new arrival Lollo D'Ercole and an excellent impact from Mascolo. The match continues along the lines of the first period, until the Lions find their first real lead (41-47 at 20') thanks to Cannon's baskets. In the third set, Bertram's defensive intensity increases considerably, closing all the passing lines and drawing great offensive energy from them: Severini, Cannon and Mascolo are the protagonists, in the 30th minute it's 50-67. In the last half, good initiatives from D'Ercole and room for large rotations: at the final siren it was 66-84.
