Derthona athletes protagonists at the Provincial Student Games
Important victories for the schools of the city of Tortona in the Provincial Student Games which were held in Alessandria. The “Marconi Carbone” Institute prevailed in the tournament dedicated to high schools: several children belonging to the youth sector of Bertram Yachts Derthona contributed to the success. They are Andrea Melisi, Leonardo Pezzulla, Leonardo Mogni, Leonardo Rota, Bojan Karac, Ognjen Miljkovic, Matteo Fiorucci, Stefano Vio, Leonardo Sala and Mattia Viale.
The San Giuseppe Institute of Tortona won the Middle School tournament, with the team that included Riccardo and Edoardo Bordoni, Riccardo Ablatico, Giovanni Gavio, Simone Vio, Filippo D'albertis.
A Tortona school was also successful in the women's category: Peano High School, in fact, won the Provincial Student Games. Valentina Bandiani, Elisa Bassi, Valentina Battegazzorre, Adele Cermelli, Alice Ferrario, Marta Serena Marchesotti, Alice Milena Marchesotti and Camilla Scacheri made a decisive contribution to the success.
