Derthona Basketball Aquilotti 2005

Youth, updates from February 16th

Under 19 Elite
Derthona Basket – Auxilium Agnelli 75-54 (22-14, 30-13, 7-12, 16-14)
Derthona: Billi 20, Carosi 10, Tava 11, Camera, Porta 3, Pieroni 11, Balestrieri 6, Albasini 10, Scabini, Pilati, Frattalone 4. Coach Casalone
The Bianconeri juniors made a good debut in the second phase. The Turin guests of Auxilium were already liquidated in the first two quarters thanks to Billi's bombs, Carosi's direction, the push of Tava and Pieroni and the commitment of Albasini. A trip to Ivrea is scheduled next week and then they will return to verify their ambitions at PalaCamagna on Tuesday 24 February at 21pm against San Mauro.

Under 17 Elite
Cuneo – Derthona Basket 71-70 dt1s (15-15, 19-13, 12-18, 19-19, 7-6)
Derthona: Albertocchi, Carena, Gibertini 17, Magrassi 7, Mogni 8, Rossi 15, Sala 14, Veronese 10. Coach Gatti
Coach Gatti's cadets failed to conquer Cuneo and surrendered only after 45 minutes of battle with extra time. However, a game to remember with Gibertini as the best scorer, Magrassi on top with 7 points and 11 rebounds, Mogni effective with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 blocks, Sala stoic with 14 points, 9 fouls suffered and 45 minutes straight on the pitch, as well as Rossi and Veronese, capable of their usual important contribution. All that was missing was the winning shot... The dreams of being able to access the second phase with the best in the category will probably vanish, but at least the honor was saved! Wednesday 18 February at 20,30pm last of the first phase in Tortona against bottom team Carmagnola.

Under 15
Moncalieri – Derthona Basket 73-61 (21-18, 13-15, 20-19, 19-11)
Derthona: Pernigotti 11, Perriello, Davio 4, Santoro 22, Zanchetta 10, Rolando 12, Celli 2, Guerra. Annex Noli
Compared to the first leg Santoro & c. they improve their performance, but Moncalieri always remains a difficult goal for the Noli unders. Next Saturday at 15pm at the Palazzetto there should be no problems in hosting Nichelino for the penultimate match of the first phase.

Under 14
Derthona Basket – Mado Valenza 72-59 (18-12, 17-17, 21-15, 16-15)
Derthona: Cattaneo 25, Mogni 16, Lonardo, D'Angella 1, Singh 12, Zanin 16, Ansaldi, Patri, Mogliazza, Ghislieri 2. All. Noli
Convincing success for the Noli students with Valenza, also finding Zanin's better condition. Next Friday we await the decisive confirmation of the Bianconeri's ambitions in Asti against the local Cierre.

Under 13
Derthona Basket – Asti 94-23 (22-7, 31-6, 18-6, 23-4)
Derthona: Tava 6, Ferretti 4, Malvicini 8, Pace 4, Lisini 6, Franchini 10, Nizzola 10, De Nicolò G. 13, Nocenti 18, Cremonti 13, Rattini, Olivieri 2. All. De Ros
No problem for Nocenti and his associates against Asti's modest team. Practically all of De Ros' boys score. Of note is Cremonti's careful direction, Franchini's determination and De Nicolò's concreteness under the basket. The scheduled trip to Trino has been postponed, the winning streak of Nizzola & companions should continue and then on Saturday 21st at 11am with Chieri at the PalaCamagna.

Minibasketball Aquilotti 2004
This week, Gatti's boys, given that the expected home debut scheduled against Casale has been postponed, will once again be away on Friday in Novi Ligure.

Minibasketball Aquilotti 2005
Derthona Basket – Castellazzo 16-8
Derthona: Lisini 8, Mogni 3, Castagna 1, Vio 15, Ferrari, Segato, Tognon 2, Romano, Romazzina, Cremonti 4, Bertelli 4, Stalletti. All. Cats
The home debut of the 2005 Juventus mini athletes against Castellazzo was also positive. Gatti's Aquilotti beat their opponents in 5 of the 6 scheduled times. In a collective that gives us hope for the future, Vio's initiative and Lisini's physical presence stand out on this occasion. Monday 23 February at 18pm we return to the parquet of Corso Alessandria against Valenza.
