Born in Guardiagrele (CH) on 30/10/1992, De Laurentiis grew up in the youth sector of ASD Basket Chieti before moving to Castelfiorentino in DNB in ​​the 2011/12 season. With the Tuscan team's shirt he produces 6.9 points and 4.7 rebounds on average in 16 minutes of average usage. In the summer of 2012 the winger/centre moved to Agrigento, where he remained for the next five seasons.

With the shirt of the Sicilian team he came close to promotion to Serie A in the 2014/15 season, when Agrigento reached the Serie A2 Gold final, losing 3-2 against Manital Torino. The following year he contributed to the team coached by coach Franco Ciani reaching the playoffs: after having passed the first round by beating Mantua 3-1, Agrigento surrendered 3-0 to Fortitudo Bologna - then defeated by Brescia in the playoff final - at quarter finals.

De Laurentiis also reached the playoffs with Fortitudo in the 2016/17 season, which ended with a 3-1 defeat against Fortitudo Bologna in the round of 2017 of the playoffs.
