Gabriele Ganeto was born in Turin on 23/07/1987. Taken the very first steps in the world of basketball at Venaria, will soon move to Biella, where it begins in Serie A and it stays for almost 4 years. At the beginning of 2007 he moved to Junior Casale, in the second national championship, then at Pallacanestro Lago Maggiore, this time in B1. From 2008 to 2010 he was a player of Basketball Vigevano, with which he achieved a historic promotion to Legadue and, the following year, the play-offs to access Serie A. Ganeto's performance is constantly growing, to the point that even theOlimpia Milano offers him a multi-year contract. The Milanese experience, in the end, lasts for the single 2010/11 year, before the transition to Varese, where he played another season in Serie A. For the following championship he dropped down a category and moved to Verona, which hires him as one of the prestige shots of its market. In 2013, still in the second national league, Ganeto lived for a year Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto and reaches the play-offs. In the 2014/15 season he wore the shirt of Napoli, playing a championship that saw him finish with an average of 10 points and 6.5 rebounds in the 22 games played, shooting 52% from 2 and 30% from 3. In 2015/16 he moved to Trapani, finishing the season averaging 8.2 points per game (65% two-point shooting) and 5 rebounds. In his second year in the granata jersey he recorded the following figures: 11 points and 4.7 rebounds. In his last season in Trapani he reached the playoffs. Eliminated in the first round by Treviso, Ganeto still closed his post season with 12 points and 6.75 rebounds on average per game.

I also remember a very warm but always correct Tortonese audience. The exodus that took place in Jesi for the Italian Cup final definitely made me understand how much this city lives on basketball. Finally, as a Turin native, I am happy to be able to return to Piedmont - close to home - after so many years."
