The Milanese team prevailed after this first half, despite coach Roncari's team fighting hard, taking the lead several times by capitalizing on second offensive rebounds. The fourth quarter began with a 6-point deficit. Derthona suffered a 12-0 run in the opening minutes and slipped to 18 points, complicating their comeback. The gap was too great for coach Roncari's team to close, and they were defeated by a final score of 86-69.
Tomorrow the Bianconeri will return to the field for the third matchday, against VL Pesaro to try to qualify for the play-offs
