Ferencz Bartocci, Riccardo Tavernelli, Mirza Alibegovic and Lorenzo Gergati protagonists at Elev8 Basket City Kings
A few hours to go Elev8 Basketball City Kings, one of the most anticipated events of the summer season. This is a project wanted by the CSKA Moscow player Daniel Hackett: the 5 vs 5 tournament will pit the teams from eight different Italian cities against each other, made up of players born, raised or who have played in the geographical area of their team. The event will start with the quarter-finals this afternoon, Friday 28 June, and will end with the finals on Sunday 30 June. Starting tomorrow, Saturday 29 June, the contests - Slam Dunk and three-point shooting competition - included in the initiative will also be held.
The eight cities that will compete in the direct elimination draw of the three-day Pesaro event are: Brescia, Pesaro, Bologna, Turin, Milan, Rome, Bari and Pescara. There are several players and managers who have passed or are ready to begin the adventure at Bertram Derthona who will take part in the event: the largest representation of the Bianconeri colors will be present in the Brescia team, which will field Mirza Alibegovic e Lorenzo Gergati as players and will see the presence of Ferencz Bartocci, new General Director of the Club, as Assistant Coach of Matteo Bonetti, patron of the Leonessa.
Instead, he will be the captain of the Rome team Richard Tavernelli, Bertram's new point guard. The tournament will see the quarter-finals played on Friday 28 June, starting from 16 pm, while in the following days it will be time for the semi-finals and finals, as well as the contests - Slam Dunk and three-point shooting competition - scheduled at inside the initiative.
The team that wins the tournament will earn the right to participate in 2020 Dock54 in Paris, which is one of the most important basketball events in the summer: sponsored by Michael Jordan, every year hosts many players and celebrities from the NBA world.
