Debut against Trento, closing in Pesaro: the Lions' regular season calendar
The home debut, at the PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris, against Dolomiti Energia Trentino on 2 October. The first away the following week, on 9 October, on the Reggio Emilia pitch. These are the first two events on the calendar for Bertram Derthona, involved in the second Serie A championship in its history.
Today, Wednesday 27 July 2022, LBA revealed the dates of the 2022/23 regular season, the formula of which features an asymmetrical calendar between the first and second legs. A way to make the year that awaits the 16 teams involved in the top flight more captivating.
There are many prestigious and fascinating matches awaiting the Lions: the match against the Italian championsAX Armani Exchange Milan (went to the Mediolanum Forum on 15 January in the match valid for the 15th day, return on 30 April to the PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris for the 14th day of return), the one to Virtus Segafredo Bologna winner of the EuroCup (went to the PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris on 8 January for the 14th matchday of the first leg, return on 5th March at the Virtus Segafredo Arena in the match valid for the fifth matchday of the second leg).
Of great interest for the recent past of the Lions, also the challenges toUmana Reyer Venice – opponent of the playoff quarter-finals last season – scheduled for 30 October in Casale (5th first leg) and 8 April at Taliercio (10th second leg) and against Dynamo Sassari, who will also be the opponent in the Super Cup semi-final on 28 September in Brescia. The first leg match (10th round) is scheduled for December 11th at PalaEnergica, while the return match (23rd matchday) will be played on March 26th at Palaserradimigni.
The matches of the path that awaits the team coached by coach Marco Ramondino will be experienced all together, in the name of the black and white colours: away on 2 October, last day on 7 May.
