Edoardo Buffo received the Grit Award at Basketball Without Borders Europe
Great satisfaction for Edward Buffo, a guard born in 2001 who will play next season in a jersey Bertram Derthona: the player concluded his experience at Basketball Without Borders Europe, the famous camp organized by FIBA and NBA which saw thirty of the best European prospects of 2001 as protagonists in Belgrade, being rewarded with the Grit Award for the tenacity and mentality demonstrated during the event.
This is a very prestigious recognition and It came as a surprise – says Buffo – because obtained in a very important event. Receiving this award was very nice, especially because I have worked hard to return to a high level after knee surgery last season. It's an award that was given to me by the players and coaches present in Belgrade, which makes me even more pleased."
