Derthona-Virtus: PalaFerraris turns pink for the AIRC
The challenge to Virtus Bologna champion of Italy, one of the most glorious and titled teams in the history of our championship. A match full of charm, with many champions on the pitch and a crowd that can make the match even more exciting Saturday 30 October at 20pm at PalaFerraris.
An eagerly awaited match, marked for some time in the calendar of all the fans, which is also enriched with great social value: on this occasion, in fact, the Casale Monferrato arena will be entirely colored pink.
Derthona will in fact take to the field alongside the AIRC Foundation to support the scientific research on breast cancer on the occasion of the challenge to the team coached by Sergio Scariolo: it is a strong initiative social value implemented in the month of October, which throughout the world is dedicated to raising public awareness and showing full support and closeness to women affected by this disease, the most widespread neoplasm in women.
The campaign #nastrorosaAIRC, which began on October 1st with pink lighting in hundreds of buildings and monuments throughout Italy, will last for the entire month of October and is widespread throughout the entire national territory.
Bertram Derthona has decided to join the initiative by giving away two gadgets to all spectators who will attend the race: la pink t-shirt realized by With Lumi, leading company in the production of 100% Made in Italy lighting items, already our partner who also on this occasion decided to support the Club, and the AIRC pink ribbon brooch to support research.
The pink t-shirts will be distributed, together with the pins, at the entrances of the Casale Monferrato arena upon the arrival of the spectators and will also be worn by the players in the pre-match and the staff technical and managerial of the Club to further color the arena pink in this prestigious challenge and promote the initiative in the media.
