Derthona, Castelnuovo and Azalai together again for Just The Woman I Am
Teaming up to support research is the common goal Bertram Derthona, Autosped Castelnuovo e Azalai Asd, who also this year take to the field in support of Just The Woman I Am. The event organized by Turin University Sports Center in collaboration with the 'University and the Polytechnic of Turin, since 2014 he has been raising funds for the university research against cancer.
The will take place on March 5, 2023 tenth edition of the non-competitive 5km walking race which, together with a series of collateral initiatives, it promotes prevention, inclusion, gender equality and correct lifestyles. Over the years, with the funds raised by the event, research grants and prizes, cycles of international scientific conferences and training sessions open to citizens have been financed. Running, which developed in the streets of Turin in its early years, has further increased its impact and visibility with the Virtual mode, which allows you to travel 5 km in the place that each person prefers: in this way the JTWIA has become the first event spread across global scale in support of university research against cancer.
The creation of synergies is one of the aspects on which the daily activity of Bertram Derthona, which also this year has decided to confirm itself as a partner of the project by involving again Autosped Castelnuovo Scrivia (Serie A2 women's basketball team) e Azalai Asd. During the home matches in February that the Bianconeri will play against Openjobmetis Varese (Sunday 5 February at 16pm) and theAllianz Trieste (Sunday 12 February at 17pm), there will be a banquet at the PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris, managed by Azalai, in which information will be provided and there will be the opportunity to express one's support for the Team Derthona, including a personalized t-shirt with the logos of the three partner companies and a series of kits created by JTWIA. The banquet will also be present at the match Autosped Castelnuovo against Mantua, which will be played at PalaOltrepò on Saturday 18 February. On that occasion the team trained by coach Nino Molino will take the field wearing the Derthona team t-shirts during the pre-match warm-up.
Furthermore, on Sunday 5 March, a new Tortona edition of the event will take place Just The Woman I Am, with departure and arrival at PalaCamagna, the symbolic place of Derthona Basket and one of the most iconic sports venues in the city. The timetable and route, managed by Azalai, will be communicated later, but this event further demonstrates the strength of this synergy created with the aim of promoting research.
The partnerships in the area and the positive messages conveyed through the world of sport, and the excellences of the Tortona area, will be on the field again for the tenth edition of JTWIA.
