DERTHONA BASKETBALL LAB
The championships in which the various teams of the Derthona Basketball Lab, the youth sector of Derthona Basket, participate have observed a rest period for the Easter holidays. The various Under 18s, 15s, 14s and 13s will resume competitions from 7 April. In the meantime, only the Under 16s worked overtime, keeping the honor of the black and white colors high in the tournament organized on the PalaCamagna parquet last weekend.
UNDER 16 EXCELLENCE
Last weekend at the Palazzetto in Corso Alessandria the 1st “Fondazione Uccio Camagna” Tournament took place, a quadrangular tournament between the Under 16 teams of Derthona, Trecate, Piacenza and Mortara respectively. On Friday in the first semi-final the Juventus cadets easily overcame Trecate led by Barbieri, while Mortara only got the better of Piacenza in the final. On Saturday afternoon in the 3rd-4th place final Piacenza beat Trecate and in the final the coach De Ros' team had to surrender to the physical superiority of Mortara, who thus won the Trophy offered for the occasion by the "Fondazione Uccio Camagna”.
