UNDER 16 EXCELLENCE
The adventure in the Eccellenza championship of the Juventus cadets is proving to be harder than expected. Even the home debut ended in defeat after for more than half the match, coach De Ros's boys had given the idea of being able to fight on equal terms against the Collegno guests. The imprecision in shooting and too many turnovers by Pace and his teammates in the final stages were fatal. The calendar is certainly not favorable to ours as the next two consecutive away matches, Saturday in Vado and next Wednesday in Moncalieri, will be on the pitches of the group favourites.

Despite the absence of Bottaro, coach De Ros's students held their own against the favored guests of Pegli, even taking the lead in the central phase of the match, but in the last quarter, thanks to tiredness and a slight illness to the best of the day, Melisi , they must give way to the Ligurians of the same age. All in all, a good performance and a marked improvement compared to the previous pre-season match against the same Genoese team. It will be decidedly tougher in the next round against Biella, one of the favorites in the group.
