Derthona Basket and Management Cittadella at the 'Rimini Meeting': the most important events
Six days of great events in the 44th edition of the Rimini Meeting, entitled 'Human existence is an inexhaustible friendship'. From 20 to 25 August the Romagna city will be the world capital of culture, with prestigious guests, conferences, meetings and events not to be missed.
Among these, some organized by Derthona Basket and Sviluppo Cittadella in the pavilion Citadel of Sport (A7/C7). A space dedicated to sport and its protagonists, where you can discover the world of basketball up close.
The first appointment to mark on the calendar is 'Baskin game presentation: the first sport dedicated to everyone' scheduled for Monday 21 August at 16pm at the Derthona Space of the pavilion. With the presence of Antonio Bodini, President and co-founder of ODV Baskin and National Councilor for Inclusive Sports (EISI), the day will end with a match between the Baskin representatives of Emilia-Romagna and Marche scheduled from 19pm to 20.30pm with free admission.
Two great events on Wednesday 23 August: at 15.30 hours the Workshop will be held 'Statistics in the world of sport' promoted by Derthona Basket with the patronage of AIASP (Italian Association of Basketball Statistics Officers). The meeting will be held by Guido Corti, Team Leader Stats Crew at EuroBasket 2022: this is an open access activity until the targets are reached 40 places available.

Born in Monopoli in 1986, he began his career in 2007 as assistant of his city's team. In the summer of 2015 he joined Basket Ravenna in Serie A2, where he remained for four seasons. In the following two years, he gained experience as an assistant in the top league at Fortitudo Bologna and Pallacanestro Reggiana, before returning to Ravenna as head coach in Serie A2 for two years, winning the award as "rookie coach of the year in the group" in 2021/22. outward journey".
