Derthona Basket and Azalai together for Just The Woman I Am: info on the event on Sunday 13 March
The territory protagonist of Just The Woman I Am 2022: Sunday March 13 the Tortona edition of the will be staged “Virtual JTWIA”. It is a 5 km walking race, developed in the city thanks to the partnership between Bertram Derthona and Azalai ASD, which further conveys the event that the CUS Turin, In collaboration with the 'University and Polytechnic of Turin, since 2014 has been organizing for raise funds in favor of the university research against cancer. Just The Woman I Am, through a series of collateral initiatives, also promotes prevention, inclusion, gender equality and correct lifestyles.
The event on March 13th is part of the initiatives that the two companies, together with Autosped Castelnuovo Scrivia, have created to support this project with a strong social value. On February 12th, at the PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris in Casale Monferrato, a double match day dedicated to JTWIA took place, now the continuation takes place with a walking race open to all those who have registered for the Team Derthona and to anyone interested in participating.
The start of the race, made possible thanks to the precious collaboration of the Municipality of Tortona, is set at 10 hours from the square in front of the PalaCamagna, which will also be the place of arrival. The building was symbolically identified as one of the "houses" of the Derthona Basket activity.
The route, traced and studied by Azalai, will wind between the historic center of Tortona, passing through the Via Emilia and Piazza del Duomo, and the Castle Park, where walkers and runners will have the opportunity to enjoy the view of the city that has from the Castle Tower.
