Home debut against Treviso, closing in Brindisi: the Lions' Serie A calendar

The first, historic, in the top flight will be at home, at PalaFerraris, against Treviso on 26 September 2021. The first away a week later, on Sunday 3 October, on the parquet of Germani Brescia.

LBA today revealed the calendar for the next Serie A, which will see Bertram Derthona make its debut. The big news of the season will be the asymmetrical calendar between the first and second legs: a way to make the year that awaits the 16 teams involved in the top flight more captivating.

There are many fascinating challenges awaiting the Lions, with the match against AX Armani Exchange Milano on the calendar (at the Forum on 9 January 2022 for the last first leg, at the PalaFerraris on 6 March for the 6th second leg) of the former Giampaolo Ricci and Davide Alviti, the one against the Italian champions Virtus Bologna (went to PalaFerraris on 31 October in the 6th matchday, return to Bologna on 24 April for the 13th return match).

Of particular interest for the recent past of the Lions, also the matches against Germani Brescia - opponents of a great A2 playoff series in 2015/16 - scheduled for 3 October in Brescia (2nd first leg) and 16 January 2022 at PalaFerraris (1st return), and against Allianz Pallacanestro Trieste, capable of eliminating Derthona in 2016/17: the first leg will be on 24 October at the Allianz Dome (5th first leg), return on 1 May 2022 at PalaFerraris (14th second leg).

All the matches that await the team coached by Marco Ramondino will however be full of charm, due to the coat of arms and history of the clubs in the top national championship. It will therefore be an adventure to be experienced together: starting on 26 September, last day on 8 May.
