The Scoiattoli of Auxilium Genova, College Basket Alessandria and Casteggio were awarded against Treviglio
Important moment for the Scoiattoli team of Bertram Derthona, which on Saturday 13 April before the Serie A2 match between the Leoni and Treviglio, was the protagonist of a tournament organized by the Juventus club itself. The teams of Auxilium Genova, College Basket Alessandria and Virtus Casteggio also took to the field on the PalaOltrepò parquet: for the young athletes it was an opportunity to have fun and subsequently watch the first team's match.
The event was won by the Ligurian team, who beat the team coached by Alessio Gaudio in the final: in the semi-final Genoa got the better of Virtus Casteggio, while the Lions prevailed against College Basket Alessandria.
The boys involved in the Scoiattoli Tournament then accompanied Bertram Derthona and Remer Treviglio's players onto the field at the time of the presentation of the teams; during the interval of the match the prizes were awarded to the four teams. The athletes involved in the event received Derthona Basket gadgets.
This event allowed the boys to experience a Serie A2 match up close: Auxilium Genova, already present for the match against Legnano on Sunday 31 March with the Aquilotti team, returned to the PalaOltrepò for the second consecutive time, while for Virtus Casteggio was the first occasion of the year in which the players took part in the tournament and witnessed a match of the Juventus first team.
