The games collected with the Gift&Go initiative were delivered to the 'Cesare Arrigo' Children's Hospital in Alessandria

Yesterday, Tuesday 18 February 2020, was an important morning for Bertram Yachts Derthona, which visited the "Cesare Arrigo" Children's Hospital in Alessandria for the delivery of the toys and board games collected on the occasion of the initiative Derthona Christmas: Gift&Go implemented in the Christmas match played on Sunday 22 December 2019 at PalaOltrepò against Eurobasket Roma.

The Juventus delegation was led by Quirino De Laurentiis, Luca Severini and Janko Čepić, first team athletes, by Sports Director Davide Parente and by Minibasket Manager Alessio Gaudio, who gave a morning of smiles and happiness to the kids at the hospital. Welcomed by Doctor Canepari and Rosanna Bernardi, an AVOI volunteer, the Lions donated the games and gave away t-shirts, caps and notebooks to the children of the Children's Hospital, who had the opportunity to spend a few moments and exchange words with Serie A2 players.

“As a Society we want to thank – comments General Manager Ferencz Bartocci – the “Cesare Arrigo” Children's Hospital for having welcomed this donation with great availability and enthusiasm and for having contributed, both on a logistical and organizational level, to the success of this important initiative".

Giacomo Centini, General Director of the Alessandria Hospital, expresses his gratitude for the donation received from the Lions: “We received a wonderful donation yesterday morning, first of all a gesture of generosity towards the little ones hospitalized in our pediatric hospital, who we know are in the hearts and thoughts of a very large community. For some time I have been able to see how the combination between sport and solidarity is extremely consolidated: the utmost gratitude to the team, to the players, to all those who made this moment of relief possible for our children but also for our operators, who see in recognition of the role of the Infantile a recognition of their professionalism. Thank you with all my heart!".
