Hello Gianni: the memory of our president Roberto Tava
Gianni Cermelli was on the pitch the embodiment of the spirit that has always animated Derthona Basket: grit, determination, genius and recklessness, fighting until the last second of every match, respecting the shirt he wore, the no. 7 with the effigy of the lion printed on it.
All of this, accompanied by an extraordinary humanity and an overwhelming sympathy.
I leave to each of those who were lucky enough to frequent him the memory of the countless anecdotes linked to the seasons in which he was the flag of our Lions: for me it is an honor to have shared this shirt with him.
