Good friendly test for Bertram Derthona who, without Ndoja and Alibegovic, faced Bakery Piacenza at PalaOltrepò obtaining useful answers in view of the match against Virtus Roma on Sunday 10 March at 17.00pm. Great balance between the two teams during the first quarter: a better start from Bertram (10-4) was followed, after coach Di Carlo's time-out, by the reaction of Piacenza, who went on to lead 13-14. Bertone's triple gives the home team the lead (16-14) after the first ten minutes of play. Even in the second set the balance on the pitch remained: Piacenza took advantage of the good precision in the three-point shot to win the portion 18-23. Third period favorable to the Bakery, led by an inspired Marques Green, skilled in finding solutions for himself and his teammates: the guests win the quarter 20-25. In the last half the two teams find good offensive and defensive solutions: Piacenza wins the partial 13-14.

Thus coach Marco Ramondino at the end of the scrimmage: ʺIt was a very useful match that allowed us to play a very competitive five-on-five, especially in a context different from the usual one of training, going beyond the injury problems we have. It was a match in which we had some ups and downs, probably also because we had experimental quintets on the pitch. This is the point to continue working in view of Rome, knowing that we have to correct some defensive mistakes and be more precise in shooting, as we have not achieved many open conclusionsʺ.
