Bruno Mascolo still with us: the MVP of the Final remains in black and white
A season as an absolute protagonist, the playoffs played as a true leader of a team that fulfilled its dream. MVP of the semi-finals and the Playoff Final, 20 points – with 5 triples – in the decisive game 5: on the promotion of Bertram Derthona to Serie A there is the signature of Bruno Mascolo, who will remain with the black and white also in 2021/22, for the third consecutive season.
Having arrived in Tortona in the summer of 2019, Bruno was able to gain an increasingly important role over time, becoming a starter in the season just ended in which he averaged 13.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists. A performance of absolute excellence, which Mascolo was able to maintain even during the promotion playoffs in which he was decisive in Game 1 of the semi-final against Eurobasket Roma and in Game 4 and Game 5 of the final against Torino.
In the two seasons played so far with the Derthona shirt, Bruno has worn the number 14 jersey on 82 occasions, contributing to the success in the 2019 LNP Old Wild West Super Cup and in the 2020/21 championship.
Now the common path continues, for the third consecutive year, the first in Serie A.
