Bertram Derthona protagonist at the convivial meeting organized by the Tortona Host Lions Club
Important evening for Bertram Derthona, protagonist yesterday of the convivial meeting organized by the Lions Club Tortona Host and strongly supported by president Tiziana Prato, who intends to promote the excellence of the territory, on the theme 'Derthona Basket - between past and future'. Speakers of the evening were the president of the Juventus Club Roberto Tava and the engineer Alessandro Gandolfo, manager of the Cittadella dello Sport project in Tortona. The president outlined some significant historical steps of basketball in Tortona and of Derthona Basket, from its beginnings to the present day, while Gandolfo spoke about the conception of the Cittadella dello Sport, what has been achieved so far and the next steps that will lead to the construction of the structure.
In addition to president Tava, the meeting was attended by a delegation from Bertram Derthona led by Marco Ramondino, head coach of the first team, Gianluca Petronio, head of the technical area and Miro De Giuli, sporting director. On this occasion, president Tava presented Anna Maria Gianelli, president of the Exago Onlus Association of Paderna (AL), with a first team playing jersey with the Fia-Trac logo, premium partner of the Juventus Club.
The Tortona Host Lions Club also donated to the president of the Exago Onlus Association the proceeds from the 'service' on Sunday 31 March on the occasion of the competition between Bertram Derthona and Axpo Legnano intended for the purchase of materials for the activities of the children's workshops.
