Bertram Derthona, the pre-season events
Il Bertram Derthona has defined the preparation program for the championship, which will begin on 6 October with the home match against Mens Sana Siena. The meeting is scheduled for August 19th at the PalaCamagna in Tortona, while the following day - August 20th - the first training session of the season is scheduled. The team will then move to Sauze d'Oulx where, from 23 to 28 August, they will carry out part of their preparation at high altitude.
The first friendly outing will be Wednesday 29 August in Borgosesia against Valsesia, a team playing in the Serie B championship. Derthona will return to the pitch in a few days, on Saturday September 1th, in Castelnuovo Monti to face Reggio Emilia. Wednesday September 5th Bertram will play again against a Serie A team, Pallacanestro Varese, while it is set for Saturday September 8th in Alessandria the now usual appointment against Casale Monferrato for the Cima Memorial.
Wednesday September 12th Cremona, another Serie A team, will arrive in Voghera, while the 15 e September 16th Bertram will be involved in the Bertolazzi Memorial in Parma: the opponents are Ravenna, Varese and Verona. In Saturday's semi-final Derthona will play against Ravenna. It's scheduled for the following week, Saturday September 22, the only pre-season event that will be held in Tortona: Memorial Ghisolfi's opponent will be Legnano.
Before their championship debut, Bertram will be involved in the scheduled LNP Super Cup Friday 28th and Saturday 29th September in a venue yet to be defined: in addition to Derthona, the other three teams that will participate are Casale Monferrato, Treviso and Fortitudo Bologna.
