Bertram Derthona: the point on the Schools Project
It kicked off Schools Project of Bertram Yachts Derthona which, for the second consecutive year, involved the students of the Comprehensive A, Comprehensive B and San Giuseppe di Tortona schools in its activities. Thanks to the important contribution provided by the Camagna Foundation and the Derthona Sports Club, the Club's minibasketball instructors were able to offer schools approximately 300 free hours of basketball during school hours.
The response from the kids was very good, so much so that many of them - after the school course - decided to try, and subsequently enroll in, the mini-basketball courses offered by the Company. At the end of the project, a delegation from Bertram Yachts Derthona, led by Bruno Mascolo and Janko Čepić, athletes of the first team, invited the pupils of the schools involved to watch the match against Givova Scafati scheduled for Sunday 3 November 2019 at 18pm on PalaOltrepò of Voghera and valid for the 6th day of the West Group of the Serie A2 Old Wild West championship. 900 coupons were distributed on this occasion, amidst the enthusiasm and joy of the kids in being able to share a moment with the athletes of the A2 Series. The hope is to see the students together with their families flock to the stands of the Voghera stadium for this match and, in general, throughout the entire 2019/20 year.
