Bertram Derthona and Bcc Castelnuovo Scrivia together at Ariel Car

Bertram Derthona and Bcc Castelnuovo Scrivia together at Ariel Car

In the late afternoon today Bertram Derthona and Bcc Castelnuovo Scrivia (women's A2) met at the Ariel Car – EcoProgram group, to seal a bond born from the common partnership with the giant of the used car market and for an early season toast. Lions and Giraffes thus posed for some photographic shots, in which Derthona revealed the presence of the Ariel Car logo on the back of the jerseys and Castelnuovo presented its main sponsor EcoProgram, and then met the press specially invited to the event.

Thus Marco Picchi, general manager of Derthona: “I think it is my duty to thank Gianluca Barabino, his family and the entire Ariel Car group for their support of local basketball. I am happy to be here together with the friends of the Bcc Castelnuovo Scrivia, in celebrating two excellences of the sporting world of our area and one of the most important entrepreneurial realities of this area which is the Ariel Car – EcoProgram group, which I thank because it believes and invests in sport and in the social sector and because it acted as an intermediary, laying the foundations for collaboration between our societies. We will shortly communicate the discounts we have thought of for the respective fans, who we invite to go and support both Derthona and the Castelnuovo girls."

These are the words of Gianluca Barabino, CEO of Ariel Car: “It is a pleasure to host two teams who have brought prestige to the area and made us all look good. We are happy to be able to support these two realities and we are very proud of the path that has been built over these years."

After the greeting from Maurizio Sacchi, president of Bcc Castelnuovo, who thanked Ecoprogram "for the fundamental contribution that it has guaranteed to our partnership for the past four years", it was the president of Derthona Basket Roberto Tava who closed the press conference: " The common goal of both realities is to achieve continuity. We have struggled to reach the level at which we are competing and we will try to stay at the top with all our strength. A non-secondary objective is to work on the youth sector: our intention is to have the greatest number of boys and girls from this area in their respective first teams."
