Bertram Derthona, the collaboration with Olympia Voghera begins
Bertram Derthona announces that it has reached a collaboration with Nuova Olympia Voghera Basket, a team competing in the C Silver championship in Lombardy. This agreement will allow the players of Derthona's youth sector - as well as playing in the Under 18 DNG championship - to gain experience, with a double membership, in a senior championship: the team coach will be Vanni Talpo, assistant coach to Lorenzo Pansa on the staff coach of Bertram Derthona.
The satisfaction with the agreement reached is mutual, as Stefano Barbieri, president of Olympia Voghera, says: ˝We wanted to ask for repechage in C Silver to develop this project with Derthona Basket, in order to plan the future of young players: we are proud and happy that a club like Bertram has decided to undertake this collaboration with us˝.
˝Our intention – explains Andrea Ablatico, head of the youth sector of Derthona Basket – is to build a lasting and synergistic bond with an important reality in our territory such as Voghera. We are very attentive to the growth of our young people and this synergy is certainly functional to their development˝.
The team will then be completed with some senior players, who will have the task of helping the players from the youth sectors of Tortona and Voghera to improve their growth.
