Tavernelli's three-point shot at the end for the victory goes off the rim and Bertram Yachts Derthona falls for the first time in the season at the end of a match largely led in terms of scoring and resolved only in the final stages. Derthona's first minutes of the match were of great quality, with Fabi inspired in attack: in the 4th minute the score was 11-2. In the following stages of the match, Trapani tries to close the score but the Lions maintain control of the pace and accelerate again with Tavernelli's triple and Ambrosin's support: it is 22-8 at 10'. The zone proposed by the guests allows them to get closer in the second quarter: coach Ramondino stops the operations at 24-16 in the 13th minute. Coming out of the time-out, Bertram produced good offensive patterns and - in defense - took away convenient solutions from 2B Control, going into the break ahead 40-26. Upon returning from the changing rooms, the Sicilians put on the field a greater defensive aggressiveness than in the first twenty minutes and found in Mollura and Miller the finalizers of the offensive maneuver: in a quarter characterized by breaks and counter-breaks, Derthona maintained a safety margin (59- 50) closing the period with Morgillo's dunk. In the last quarter Corbett brings the team coached by Parente back to just two possessions behind the gap (61-55), before the push from Ambrosin and Cannon which once again makes the team double the gap (68-57 in the 35th minute). Trapani – led by Renzi – gets closer to 68-63 in the 37th minute, forcing coach Ramondino to stop the match. The Sicilians produce a subsequent break of 0-7, thanks to Corbett, Renzi and Pianegonda, which is worth overtaking at 71-72. In the following action Tavernelli's winning shot fails to hit the mark.
