BCC Femminile – history

The Basket Club Castelnuovo was officially founded in 1986. The objectives and purposes of the BCC have always been to provide a space for the children of Castelnuovo and the surrounding towns where they can carry out a sporting activity to help them grow in a peaceful and friendly environment.

We make our own the statement according to which “educating is very important, educating is fundamental, to instruct by educating, requires a maturity that cannot be acquired in a short time, neither from books nor by simply participating in a training course nor even by attending lessons given by other instructors”. This maturity is achieved through experience, tenacity, mistakes, self-criticism and comparison with others.

To do this, we are convinced that the responsible involvement of all components of society is essential, from managers to instructors, parents and athletes.
