BCC Derthona-coach Cutugno, the story continues
Autosped BCC Derthona announces that it has reached an agreement for the multi-year renewal of the head coach Orazio Cutugno.

As I said a couple of years ago, in the heat and emotion of the first press conference, I repeat again, with greater pride, that I have a great sense of responsibility. We will proceed as always one step at a time with the usual enthusiasm, commitment, study and desire to consolidate a beautiful reality such as that represented by BCC Derthona Basket”.
Having arrived in Tortona in the summer of 2023, coach Cutugno has been among the architects of the great results achieved by the Club in the last two seasons. In his first year on the BCC bench, the head coach reached the Coppa Italia final and won promotion to Serie A1, at the end of the final won 2-0 against San Giovanni Valdarno and after an exhilarating journey that saw Autosped lead the standings of its group for large parts of the season.
In the first year in Serie A1 in the history of the Club, coach Cutugno contributed to reaching the Final Four of the Coppa Italia and to fourth place in the regular season with two days to spare, thus guaranteeing BCC the advantage of home field advantage in the playoff quarterfinals.
Orazio Cutugno led the team in 58 matches across all competitions played between Serie A1 and Serie A2, achieving 46 victories.
