Free and reimbursed activity: youth sector and mini-basketball divided
The news we have been waiting for for a long time has finally arrived: the activity of the youth sector has started again. In fact, starting from February 1st, with the update of the federal protocols, the activity of the entire Juventus youth sector gradually restarted.
After undergoing the prescribed swabs, starting with the Eccellenza teams, all our boys began taking to the field again under the orders of the Technical Staff of the Alessandria 1 club.
“With the resumption of Minibasketball over the past week, the whole sector is moving forward. Around 90% of our members have resumed activity – says Andrea Ablatico, President of the Derthona Basketball Lab – and in this infinite loop of openings and closings, of uncertainties and fears, such a fact can only make me proud of the work done and of our people. Maintaining the link between society and our families, in an area so affected by Covid-19, was the primary objective".
Precisely for this reason Derthona Basket has decided to conduct its courses, at all levels, completely free of charge until the end of the season. An important signal, which aims to give all families and children a better chance to get back into sport, in total safety.
As soon as the program is defined in every detail, those who have paid the membership fee for this season will be able to obtain a replacement voucher or a full refund by contacting the Secretariat at the times that will be announced next week.
“In addition to respecting institutional hygiene/health rules and federal protocols, to better protect the kids, we have taken the initiative to carry out a control swab for all members at our training facility on a fortnightly basis. It is a small recognition of the attachment shown by many families to our colors and can only confirm how much we care about our kids even before our "athletes", closes Ablatico.
