Mathematical qualification for the playoffs arrives
It's a Sunday evening of celebration for Bertram Derthona who, thanks to the results from the other fields in the West group, are mathematically qualified for the playoffs two days before the end of the regular season. This is the third consecutive access to the Serie A2 post-season, which will start from the weekend of 29-30 April.
In the next two matches the Lions will play to obtain the best possible position in the grid which, as in previous years, will lead them to meet the best eight teams in the East group.
Thus the Juventus general manager Marco Picchi: “This qualification represents the achievement of another seasonal objective, after the conquest of the Final Eight of the Italian Cup.
