Derthona Basket beats Piacenza 79-65 in the final of Group A of the DNB and wins a place at the Cervia concentration next weekend which will designate the three teams promoted to Silver next season.
In the decisive play-off played in a packed PalaCamagna beyond belief, a super performance from Samoggia with 24 points and 10 rebounds, who together with Viglianisi created the first break of the match already in the opening quarter which ended 19-9. With Gioria's help from the bench, Derthona held off the visitors' return in the second half to go into the locker room ahead 35-27.
Samoggia again with Rotondo among the protagonists of the third quarter to consolidate the Juventus lead at 52-42 in the 30th minute.
