Another new entry in the youth sector technical staff: welcome Nicolò Gatti
Nicolò, in a double role, will be both Under 19 Gold Head Coach is player of the Serie B Interregionale.
Here are his first words:
“What can I say… I think that if they had written a movie script it would never have come out so well. I owe my career as a player to Tortona and Derthona. It is here that it all began. At PalaCamagna I took my first steps towards a professional career, I savored the victory of my first championship and I understood that basketball would be my life. Returning at the end of my journey as a player, even if it is not yet completely over, is the closing of a circle that, perhaps, was written in destiny. This year a new life begins for me, and it is a great responsibility. I am charged and motivated to reciprocate the trust of the company, trying to make the younger guys understand what it means to wear this jersey and play in this city. I thank Andrea Ablatico for the opportunity he gave me to become part of the Derthona Basketball Lab, it will be up to me to prove that I am up to the task and learn as much as possible from all the high-level professionals who train here.
