Another great result for the Minibasket of the Derthona Basketball Lab: the 2023 Regional Jamboree of the Rookies on Saturday in Tortona
minibasket great protagonist over the weekend of Derthona Basketball Lab. The organization of the match was in fact entrusted to the Juventus club Regional Jamboree 2023 of Debutant, the regional final of the oldest age category for mini basketball players. Over the course of the entire day Saturday June 10 they will challenge each other best 9 Piedmontese teams exiting the qualifying phases, who will compete for the title of Champion of Piedmont on the three fields where the event will take place, the PalaCamagna, Codevilla Gym and Camp Armana.
The hosts of the Champions League will also be playing for the Champions Cup Derthona Basketball Lab, who, moreover, will have another key event of the season at the PalaCamagna tomorrow, the first match point to rise to the Interregional Serie B with his Serie C Gold team, in match-2 at 20 pm against BEA Chieri after having won the opening away match of the playoff final.
In the Jamboree the DB Lab is placed in the group with Don Bosco Crocetta Turin e Farigliano basketball, in the other groupings there will be respectively Basketball Monferrato, San Mauro Basketball e Basketball Gallarate and, to close, PNC Basketball Nole Ciriè, Eridania Turin e College Basketball Borgomanero. The teams in each group will compete against each other during the morning to determine the ranking and the consequent afternoon groups of the first teams, who will compete for the title, the second and third teams.

The winning teams of the Gironi Rossi, i.e. the competitive groups, including our team, participate in the tournament. Our 2011 group is truly a spectacular group, very fun to coach. I am also very happy for the team's coaches, Nicola Pernigotti and Umberto Bagnasco, they deserve this achievement. We hope to make a good impression in these finals at home”. Which are the icing on the cake on the Juventus minibasketball season with once again record numbers: "For three years now, this is the first real year in which we have been able to play basketball for the entire season after the pandemic. We have increased the number of members, we have reached 180 and we are still trying to increase them for the next few years. It is a result that we have achieved thanks to the club which does everything possible to help us but above all to the entire minibasketball staff which, despite being also made up of boys and girls who study or work, is always present, always wants to do, is always positive and proactive. And the full gyms are there to prove it".
