Bertram Derthona leaves Trento defeated: at the end of a match played with intensity and competitiveness, the hosts come out on top. After a second quarter of Trentino quality, the team coached by coach Ramondino, with patience and clarity, progressively reduces the gap and earns overtime. In extra time, the Eagle extended their lead in the final stages, prevailing at the siren.

First quarter of a high offensive level at the BLM Group Arena: after the initial minutes led by Trento in scoring, Bertram finds choral and talented plays that allow her to close the opening quarter ahead 21-23. Derthona's favorable moment also continued at the start of the second half, before the hosts - led by Caroline's energy - produced an important break which was worth the first double-digit gap in the match: at half-time the score was 44 -34.

Upon returning from the locker rooms, the team coached by coach Ramondino raises the intensity of their defense and builds good shots in attack, reducing the gap possession after possession. At the end of the half, with two three-point baskets from Filloy – who exceeds 2000 points in Serie A – Bertram impacts the match at 57 points. The last quarter is a succession of emotions, partials and partial counters: Flaccadori for Trento, Macura and Filloy for Derthona score heavy baskets. We enter the last minute tied: the home team scores a three with Williams, but Filloy scores the match again at 76 with 15 seconds to go. The last attempts fail, it's overtime.

The extra time was tied, marked by the tiredness of the two teams: what broke the balance in the last minute of the match was the coldness of Dolomiti Energia on the line. First a 3/3 by Williams and, subsequently, after Wright's error, two trips to the line by Saunders set the score at 85-80 with which the match ended.

Thus coach Marco Ramondino at the end of the race: ʺCongratulations to Trento for the victory. The match was decided on the ability to make the right choices in decisive plays, an aspect on which we must improve. In a point-to-point race, having a more clear and linear management is important: we must not become disunited when things don't work. In general it is necessary to be more decisive, we produced turnovers on passes delivered which opened up baskets on the counterattack by Trento. These errors, especially away games, hurt because they take away the possibility of making a shot and give the opponents quick transitions..
