The District Basketball Tournament of the Municipality of Tortona took place yesterday at Camagna
A symbolic place of Tortona basketball hosted the District Basketball Tournament of the Municipality of Tortona, organized by the city's schools in collaboration with Derthona Basket, which made referees and officials and the gym available.
On the parquet of Corso Alessandria 1, many boys and girls from the lower secondary schools of the city and the surrounding area took to the field (the Bassa Valle Scrivia Institute which includes students from the schools of Castelnuovo Scrivia, Sale and Pontecurone). The men's tournament ended with the success ofSan Giuseppe Institute, which beat Comprehensive Tortona B in the final, while the women's one saw the victory of 
Comprehensive Tortona A in the final act onLower Valle Scrivia Institute. The boys and girls who won the first places were honored with exclusive Derthona Basket branded gadgets and clothing, demonstrating the strong bond between the educational institutions and the Club on this occasion too.
The winning institutions will now enter the provincial phase of the 
event which will take place at the PalaCima in Alessandria.
Yesterday at Camagna there was a great day of sport and fun, in the name of basketball.
