The Lions' retreat begins in Livigno
Bertram Derthona's pre-season training camp began today, Saturday 20 August 2022. The team reached Livigno and held their first training session of the year at the Teola gym. Tomorrow evening Vanni Talpo will join the rest of the team group at altitude: the Juventus assistant coach has been busy in recent days with the Under 16 men's national team at the European Championships held in North Macedonia which the Azzurri finished in sixth place.
The first phase of the preseason will end Tuesday August 30 18 hours with the friendly match in Sondrio against SAM Massagno, at the end of which the team will return to Tortona.
To maintain a high quality of training, in addition to the twelve first team athletes, they were added to this phase Pietro Lisini, who grew up in the Club's youth sector, Lorenzo Baldi, who arrived in Tortona last year and has already joined Serie A in 2021/22. To complete the picture of the aggregates Nicholas Errica, who grew up in the youth sectors of Stella Azzurra Roma and Vanoli Cremona (the team with which he debuted in Serie A in 2021/22),
The 2022/23 season has kicked off, with the first high-altitude training in Livigno.
