The first half of the season for Gulliver Supermercati Derthona in the Serie B Interregionale championship ends with a defeat. At the PalaCamagna in Tortona, Riso Scotti Pavia wins in the recovery of the tenth round. At the halfway point of the tournament, the black and white team shares, together with Don Bosco Crocetta, the second to last position in the Division A standings of the North-West Conference with 6 points (three wins and eight losses).
Good start for Derthona who manages to close the first period in the lead thanks to an excellent offensive performance, with Josovic protagonist with 11 points (4/6 from the field). In the second quarter, however, Pavia overturns the result, imposing a solid defense and limiting the home team to just 6 points scored, thus taking the lead at halftime with a score of 31-38.
After returning from the locker rooms, the Lombards continued to impose their game, thanks to Smith's contribution, especially with his shot from the arc, and Ronca's dominant presence under the basket. At the start of the fourth quarter, with a 14-point lead, the guests seemed to have the game in hand, but Derthona did not give up, managing to reduce the gap to under double digits. Despite the final efforts of the Lions, Pavia managed to maintain the advantage, closing the game at 67-76.
