Allianz Derthona's splendid run in the Under 7 Excellence National Finals ends against EA19 Emporio Armani Milano. The team coached by Ansaloni chases the score right from the start, tries to stay in contact for over thirty minutes, but surrenders to the pushes brought by the opponents. However, pride remains for a path full of satisfactions in the season for a group capable of reaching the end of both the Next Gen and the National Category Finals, in which they surrendered on both occasions to the team coached by Catalani.

A high-paced start to the match for Milan who, led by Suigo and his precision in three-point shooting, made the first breakthrough in the score. Despite Derthona's attempts to stay in touch, EA7 reached a double-digit lead at the end of the half (26-15). The team coached by Catalani, with an unreal three-point percentage (7/11), widened its gap in the first minutes of the second quarter (37-23 at 13'), forcing coach Ansaloni to stop the match. The favorable moment for Milan also continues in the following moments, driven by the precision of the shot: the 46-25 in the middle of the period is the maximum advantage. The Juventus reaction manifests itself with a 1-12 counter break which is worth -10 (47-37): at half-time EA7 ahead 53-40.

The third quarter continues with the same leitmotiv of the first half, with EA7 leading the operations and Bertram chasing. Although the team coached by Ansaloni tries, with great diligence, to shorten their gap, Milan maintains a double-digit lead. The half ends with a score of 76-60. In the last quarter the Milanese team manages the margin, wins 95-82 and becomes Italian champion.
