Here is Andrejs Gražulis, new reinforcement of the Juventus Club
Bertram Derthona is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Andrejs Gražulis, a player born in 93 who played his last season with the VEF Riga shirt.
CAREER – Born on 21/07/1993 in Koknese (Latvia), Gražulis began his career in the youth sector of Bk Ventspils, starting in 2009. After completing his entire youth career, he also made his debut in the Club's first team. of the 2013/14 season he moved to play at Valmiera, another Latvian team. He returned to Ventspils again during the 2013/14 season wearing this shirt until the end of the 2016/17 season: in these years he also participated in the Eurocup, the Europe Cup and the Basketball Champions League with the Ventspils shirt .
In 2017/18 Andrejs moved to Russia, to Parma Perm, a team with which he played in the VTB United League. He ended the season averaging 6.8 points and 4 rebounds; last year he then returned to Latvia, to VEF Riga with which he played both in the VTB League, averaging 10.5 points, and in the Estonian-Latvian Basketball League.
Wearing the Under 20 national team jersey, he won silver at Eurobasket 2013 held in Tallinn, an event won by Italy. Gražulis, on that occasion, scored the winning basket in the semi-final against Spain. After playing for the youth team, Andrejs joined the Latvia senior national team. He now arrives at Bertram Derthona to start a new chapter in his career.
