Grant Basile and Niccolò Filoni called up to the 'Green Team'
A group of young players, aiming to look to the future with a view to the senior national team: this is the goal of the 'Green Team ', who will wear special eco-friendly jerseys and will train under the guidance of Edoardo Casalone, assistant coach of the senior national team, and under the watchful eye of the entire Italbasket coaching staff.
Grant Basile and Niccolò Filoni have been selected to join the working group that will meet at the Giulio Onesti Olympic Training Center in Rome starting Wednesday, June 28. The Azzurri will then travel to Torrejon de Ardoz, Spain, starting July 2. There, they will face the Spanish Green Team twice (July 3 and 4) . The two projects share the same desire to look to the future with players who could then return to the senior national team in the years to come.
The meeting will end on July 5th with the return of the Green Team to Italy.
