All set for the fans' embrace at Derthona Basket and BCC Derthona: the men's and women's team presentations tomorrow.
A full afternoon to celebrate the start of the new 2026-27 season for Derthona Basket with all the various members of the black and white club, and more. Tomorrow, Thursday, September 17, the Cittadella dello Sport in Tortona will host the presentation of all the Derthona Basket and BCC Derthona teams, culminating with the respective First Teams of Autosped G BCC Derthona and Derthona Basket, represented by Bertram in national competitions and Baglietto in the EuroCup.
The event represents a significant opportunity for the Club and its supporters to connect and will take place on the Cittadella playgrounds. In case of inclement weather, all activities will be moved indoors to the Facility's gym.
Program
The event area will open at 16:15 PM, preceding the minibasketball tournaments that will run from 16:30 PM until the official presentation, scheduled for 18 PM.
The first to receive applause will be the Derthona Baskin players, along with a speech by coach Elena Mazzucotelli. After a performance by the Derthona Cheer, Derthona's official cheerleaders, the BCC Derthona women's youth team will take the stage, with technical director Josè Grosso speaking for them. This will be followed by the men's and women's minibasketball teams from the two clubs, and the Derthona Basket youth team, with Andrea Fanaletti speaking.
DaMove's performance will precede the Autosped G BCC Derthona presentation, scheduled for 18:45 PM and featuring remarks from last season's Italian Serie A1 MVP, Anastasia Conte, and coach Orazio Cutugno.
The FADA Lab dances will serve as a prelude to the evening's highlight. At 19:05 PM, the Derthona Basket Lions will parade on the playgrounds, ready for their sixth consecutive season in Italy's top league and making their debut two days later in the LBA Super Cup, which will be played just a few meters away, at the Nova Arena. New captain Andrea Pecchia and coach Mario Fioretti will express their true passion for the Bianconeri to the fans. Following the presentation, there will be the traditional photo and autograph space with the Bianconeri players.
For the occasion, new merchandise and season tickets for Derthona's home games will be available for purchase at Cittadella starting at 4:00 PM. The Derthona Basket store on Via Carducci will be closed tomorrow afternoon.
Taking turns at the microphone to introduce the event will be the two official speakers of the men's and women's teams, Marco "Bisco" Allieri and Andrea Botosso.
