Bertram Derthona's regular season ends with a success, as they will now challenge Umana Reyer Venezia in the playoff quarter-finals. In Brindisi, the team coached by coach Ramondino leads the scoring for large stretches of the match, breaking the balance in the last quarter thanks to the precision of the shot from outside. Five players scored double figures at the buzzer: Daum (21 p), Filloy (17 p), Wright (16 p), Cannon and Macura (11 p).

In their first year in Serie A, Bertram is fourth in the standings after a great regular season. Consistency, growth, and prestigious victories have led Derthona to close the first half of the season with 17 wins and 13 losses. Now they face Umana Reyer Venezia in the quarterfinals, with home-field advantage. The dates and times of the series matches will be announced as soon as they are official.

First quarter with a high offensive pace at the PalaPentassuglia, with the two teams scoring continuously from three points: Bertram leads in scoring right from the start and closes ahead 20-25 at 10'. In the second half Derthona extended its margin beyond double figures (26-38) before suffering the return of Happy Casa, led by Perkins: at half-time the score was 45-49.

Upon returning from the locker rooms, the balance remains on the pitch between two teams that find good offensive solutions: after a long chase, Brindisi (who loses Gentile, sent off) overtakes and goes on to lead the match at the end of the half (71- 70). In the final period, Bertram tries to give the decisive push to the match (78-88 in the 35th minute) with three triples from Filloy and one from Mascolo. The partial in favor of the Bianconeri was fueled by Daum, who scored the baskets that definitively closed the match, which ended with the score of 82-99.

Coach Marco Ramondino said after the game: "Regardless of the outcome of the match, we benefited greatly from Brindisi's absences. The game, overall, went as expected, as Brindisi, playing at home in front of their home crowd, played with energy and character. In the final quarter, we managed to get the better of our opponents, and what I appreciated most about this game was the composure with which they played, even when we were down, and then managed to extend their lead in the final quarter .
