Bertram Derthona returns to success, at the end of a match led in scoring right from the ball. The Bianconeri took advantage of the verve in the three-point shot at the start to dig the gap which, then expanded in the following quarters, steered the match in favor of the team coached by Ramondino. The Lions' next match will be Sunday 23 April at 16pm at PalaBarbuto against GeVi Napoli.
First period led by Bertram, in terms of rhythm and score: the team coached by Ramondino - thanks to the precision in the three-point shot (3/4) - extends to 21-12 in the 10th minute. In the second half, UNAHOTELS closed their gap several times to two possessions, before the new acceleration signed by Severini-Macura which made it 43-31 at the interval.
Upon returning from the changing rooms, the match ran on the same tracks as the first half, with Reggio trying several times to get back into the match and Derthona rejecting any comeback attempt and extending the lead to 64-50 in the 30th minute. In the last quarter, with Senglin's triple, UNAHOTELS gets back to 7 points (66-59), before the 4-0 scored by Christon restores the distance (70-59 in the 36th minute). In the final stages Bertram maintains the accumulated margin and wins 74-68.

Reggio Emilia has many experienced players in key roles such as point guards and guards, so the match was difficult to interpret. The success was deserved by our boys, who led from the start and took the initiative of the game in both halves of the pitch. Everyone took a step forward in being more aggressive and they scored at least 68-15 really difficult points to get to 18. We removed everything that could be removed: they didn't score consistently during the game.
